ONION FEST: The Adventures of Juan Bobo by Open Eye Figure Theatre
Come to our 11th Annual Onion Fest, celebrating a multi-layered society through a multi-layered vegetable. Enjoy onion-based pizzas and specialties to make your eyes water while TaikoArts Midwest Japanese drummers, Ensō Daiko offer loud, energetic performance combining music, dance, culture, and pure athleticism. Top off the evening with The Adventures of Juan Bobo, a Driveway Tour puppetry performance by Open Eye Figure Theatre.
The world is upside down in The Adventures of Juan Bobo and he is going to do something to turn it right side up! Inspired by Puerto Rican folk stories, the show combines puppetry, music, Spanish and English in a delightful tale of riddles, silly devils, a missing pig and a village in need of a hero.
